Pashinyan and the President of the EAEU Collegium Discuss Cooperation Issues
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted Mikhail Myasnikovich, the President of the Eurasian Economic Commission Collegium. The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Myasnikovich on assuming his new position and wished him effective and fruitful work.
Pashinyan expressed hope that under Mr. Myasnikovich’s leadership, the activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission would give new momentum to cooperation within the EAEU and the expansion of trade and economic ties.
Mikhail Myasnikovich thanked the Prime Minister for supporting his candidacy for the position of EAEU Collegium President. He assured that through his work, he would justify the trust placed in him by the leaders of the EAEU countries.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the strategic directions of the development of Eurasian economic integration planned until 2025, approaches to eliminating existing barriers, exceptions, and restrictions in the EAEU market, and issues related to promoting trade and investment.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of consistent steps aimed at increasing the volume of internal trade in the EAEU and forming a unified energy market.
