Military Delegation from Russia to Visit Turkey
The spokesperson for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Ibrahim Kalin, has announced that they are expecting a military delegation from Russia to arrive. According to him, discussions with the Russian delegation will focus on the developments occurring around Idlib, as reported by ermenihaber.
Kalin mentioned that Turkey continues to engage actively regarding Idlib and supports the Berlin process, as well as operations carried out under the auspices of the United Nations. In this context, Turkey's negotiations with Iran are also ongoing.
“Our observation posts in the Idlib area will remain in place, and everything will be done to protect our soldiers,” said Erdoğan's spokesperson.
He asserted that Turkey is also working actively to prevent a new wave of refugees and will try to thwart attacks that may occur under the guise of fighting terrorism. Ibrahim Kalin also emphasized the intention to develop a new roadmap with the Russian delegation, and a new conference is likely to be held in Astana in March.
