Irregularities in Kindergartens Cannot Go Unpunished, Deputy Mayor
All requirements established by law must be strictly adhered to in kindergartens under the jurisdiction of Yerevan. This was emphasized during a meeting with the heads of the municipal education department and the relevant divisions of administrative regions by Deputy Mayor Tigran Virabyan.
During his surprise visits to several kindergartens in Yerevan days ago, the deputy mayor personally noted a number of shortcomings. In particular, he urged to eliminate additional charges for children, to strictly monitor the quality, expiration dates, and especially the preservation conditions of food provided.
The issue of staff discipline and ensuring the safety of children in kindergartens was also highlighted, with special attention drawn to the maintenance of property. Tigran Virabyan underscored that any illegal action cannot go unpunished.
