US Senate Acquits Donald Trump

The US Senate held a vote on the impeachment of President Donald Trump. In the Republican-majority Senate, which acted as a court during this process, Trump was acquitted.

It should be noted that Democrats had brought charges against him for abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The trial in the Senate lasted two weeks and began after the House of Representatives filed the two charges.
