Video: Route 99 Gazelle Involved in Accident; Driver Was Intoxicated; Injuries Reported

Today, February 5, a serious traffic accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 08:50, on the bridge near the well-known Yerevan Lake on Isakov Avenue, a collision took place between a passenger "Gazelle" vehicle serving route 99, driven by 59-year-old Onik Adamyan, and a Honda Fit, license plate 36 FS 345, driven by 29-year-old Rafik Mesropyan.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the Gazelle driver and his six passengers received first aid from several emergency medical teams who arrived promptly at the scene and were later transported to various hospitals in Yerevan.

The Gazelle driver underwent a sobriety test at the scene, and it was determined that he was driving under the influence (at the highest level of intoxication). The police are working to identify the injured parties.
