Police Will Not Get Involved in Conversations of Those Deprived of Impunity, Arman Sargsyan
“The police will not get involved in the conversations of those who have gained a reputation for impunity over decades and are currently deprived of that privilege. Our response will be firm and legal, as our common goal is to live in a legal state,” stated acting Police Chief Arman Sargsyan in an interview with ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ regarding comments made by former HFF president Ruben Hayrapetyan towards the police yesterday.
It is worth recalling that during another operation connected to ‘asphalt laying,’ Ruben Hayrapetyan was detained and later released on suspicion of possession and carrying of weapons and ammunition. After his release, he stated, “There is no shame in lying down on the asphalt by the policeman, but that I will lie down one beautiful day and clean my feet, that is certain.” Hayrapetyan also mentioned the name of acting Police Chief Arman Sargsyan, stating that “he is searching my car for Su-35s, S-90 tanks, BTRs, and BMPs.”
