Video: Father and Son Stabbed in Martuni, Police Report

In the night of February 2, a 55-year-old man and his 25-year-old son were transferred from Mkhtar Heratsi Street in Martuni to the Martuni Medical Center. Both sustained head injuries and were diagnosed with stab wounds.

Police officers from the Martuni division, dispatched to the hospital and then to the scene, determined that a dispute between neighbors over domestic issues escalated into a brawl. During the altercation, a 22-year-old young man stabbed an individual on the opposing side. The suspect's father was also involved in the incident.

On February 4, the father and son were located and taken into custody by the Martuni police. The son provided a confession. Subsequent measures led to the recovery of the knife used in the crime, which has been seized. Forensic examinations have been scheduled as the investigation continues.
