Owner of 'Gold World' Reports to NSS, Claims to Have Bribed Gagik Beglaryan
According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a criminal case has been initiated in the investigation department of the National Security Service of Armenia under Article 311, Part 4, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code.
Sources indicate that the case was opened based on the testimony of Vagarsh Abrahamyan, the founder of the limited liability company 'Vagarsh and Sons,' widely known as the owner of 'Vagharsh Gold.'
According to reports, V. Abrahamyan informed the NSS investigation department that during the construction of an apartment building at 144/3 Anaranyan Street in Yerevan, a decision to unjustly suspend the project was made by Gagik Beglaryan, nicknamed 'Chorni Gago' in Yerevan. To continue the construction work, he had contacted Yuri Beglaryan, Gagik Beglaryan's brother, through the intermediary of a deceased acquaintance, and part-by-part transferred $75,000 to Gagik Beglaryan. After this payment, the obstacles related to the resumption of construction were removed.
