Irates: Have the Authorities of Artsakh Been Informed About the Two-Day Negotiations of the Foreign Ministers?
Irates newspaper writes: It is said that the authorities in Armenia are unaware of the topics discussed during the two-day negotiations between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. As the public would say, 'it’s not their business', but are the authorities in Artsakh at least informed about the plans that are being devised regarding them?
In other words, did Nikol Pashinyan inform his counterpart, Bako Saakyan, and the leadership of Artsakh about these negotiations? We recall that last June, when Pashinyan was actively searching for traitors in Artsakh, he stated: 'When my friend was at the helm of the Armenian government, he was not given any information, nor was he considered necessary to be informed about what was happening, what they were thinking, and what they wanted to convey: I was the one who passed the documents regarding the negotiation process on the Artsakh issue to the authorities there. They had no idea what had been negotiated beforehand.'
Of course, immediately after this statement, Artsakh President Bako Saakyan countered, saying that they had always been aware of the negotiating materials. Now, have the details of these highly 'confidential' negotiations been communicated to the authorities in Artsakh? Did Pashinyan find it necessary to inform the main 'stakeholders' of this matter?
Meanwhile, statements expressing concern have already been made from Artsakh. And, in the end, where did Pashinyan's claim of not negotiating without Artsakh go? Or perhaps the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan did not negotiate at all, they simply 'tried to speak and tried to listen.'
