Hearing Begins in the Case of Robert Kocharyan and Others
On February 4, the court hearing in the case of Armenia's second President Robert Kocharyan and others began. It is worth noting that the previous two hearings did not take place due to the absence of lawyers. At the last session, the lawyers for former President Robert Kocharyan and former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan were not present, and prior to that, the lawyer for former CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov was also absent.
The defense's actions were prompted by a statement from a representative of the injured party, which the lawyers interpreted as a threat. Judge Anna Danibekyan held a different opinion. The lawyers considered the judge's behavior inappropriate.
