Stepantsminda-Lars Highway Closed

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 31 at 13:45, there are impassable roads within the territory of Armenia. The Vardenyats Pass is impassable for all types of vehicles.

In the regions of Aparan and Tsaghkadzor in the Aragatsotn Province, snow is falling.

Regarding Lars, according to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia’s North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed for all types of transport. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
