Two Chinese Citizens Isolated in Armenia
Among the tourists arriving from Georgia to Armenia were also two citizens of China. This was stated today, January 29, during a press conference by Liana Torosyan, head of the Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Division at the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
Torosyan noted that one of them exhibited a fever at the Armenian border checkpoint on their way back. "All citizens were checked and had their temperatures taken, and the two Chinese citizens were transferred to a medical center for examination. One has no fever at all, while the other had a slight fever of 37 degrees Celsius and is currently undergoing a chest X-ray. We are waiting for the X-ray results; the second person feels well enough and will remain in a separate isolated box in quarantine," she said.
Torosyan mentioned that if there is any doubt, samples will be sent to another country.
