Public: What Discussions Took Place Between My Step Members and Arman Sargsyan

The newspaper "Public" reports that details have emerged regarding the meeting between the parliamentary faction "My Step" and acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan.

Initially, the meeting was intended to cover other topics, but considering the events of recent days, it took a different direction. Specifically, the meeting was supposed to address the activities of the acting police chief, summarizing his work, discussing issues related to changes within the police system, etc. However, the main concerns of the deputies revolved around recent events and the arrests of civil activists.

In particular, the parliamentarians inquired why the police had detained them and had also asked why there had been no consequences for the insults directed at them by the activists. Following this barrage of questions, the acting police chief tried to justify himself, explaining that they only had information about the possession of weapons and ammunition and that the individuals had been taken for verification, asserting that no illegal actions had been committed.

The parliamentarians were particularly troubled by the issue of insults, but Sargsyan declared that they had no further action to take on that matter.
