Iraqi Armed Forces Decide to Conduct Operations Against Terrorists

The Iraqi Armed Forces have decided to conduct joint operations against terrorists in conjunction with the international coalition. Iraq has opted to resume operations against the Islamic State terrorist group alongside the US-led coalition. This was reported by Reuters on Thursday, January 30.

“In order to utilize the time remaining before establishing new relations with the international coalition, it has been decided to carry out joint operations that will enable our forces to combat ISIS,” stated the Iraqi military in a press release.
