Arman Sargsyan Discusses Police Reforms with International Experts

The Acting Chief of Police of Armenia, Arman Sargsyan, met with international expert Ekaterina Zguladze and Michael Schulman, director of the U.S. Embassy's Drug Enforcement and Law Enforcement Cooperation Program, on January 30.

According to the Public Relations and Information Department of the Armenian Police, Sargsyan welcomed his guests and noted that this was not the first meeting with Zguladze, expressing hope that it would also be productive.

The Acting Police Chief thanked Michael Schulman for the long-standing close cooperation with the U.S. Embassy's program.

Ekaterina Zguladze, expressing her gratitude for the warm welcome, posed questions regarding the reforms in law enforcement to the police leadership.

During the discussion, Arman Sargsyan shared his views and actions of the police, emphasizing that the police leadership is ready for effective cooperation to implement reforms, which will lead to a better-prepared police force in Armenia.

The meeting also covered additional questions related to police reforms and other areas of mutual interest.
