VIDEO: Drugs Found in 25-Year-Old's Underwear

On January 18, police officers from the special battalion of the patrol service of Yerevan's Police Department detained a 25-year-old resident of Yerevan at the intersection of Sayat-Nova Avenue and Abovyan Street.

The suspicion was for drug possession and use, as well as for carrying cold weapons. The young man was subjected to a personal search. Besides a folding knife, 105 packages of crystalline substances, wrapped in foil, were discovered hidden in his underwear. Greenish substances, a dropper, and more were also found. According to the detainee, the crystalline substances are methamphetamine, while the greenish ones are spice.

A criminal case has been initiated, and examinations were ordered.

As part of the initiated criminal case, on January 20, the young man's vehicle was searched by court order. As a result, various weights of substances similar to methamphetamine and spice were discovered, which have also been sent for examination.

The young man has been charged and is currently detained and has been transferred to a penitentiary facility.
