VIDEO: 17-Year-Old Opens Neighbor's Kitchen Window and Commits Theft
No report regarding the burglary had been received. The homeowners in the village of Sevkar, Tavush province, may not have noticed the absence of their wallet yet, but this did not hinder the Ijevan police from uncovering the crime.
On the afternoon of January 21, acting on obtained operational information, Ijevan criminal investigators apprehended a 17-year-old resident of Sevkar village on suspicion of theft. He confessed that three days earlier, around 1 PM on January 18, while the neighbors were away, he pushed open the kitchen window, entered the house, and stole a wallet containing 150,000 drams from the master bedroom's closet.
A report has been accepted from the homeowner, and materials are being prepared.
