Warm and Dry Days Are No Longer Joyful, But Very Concerning: Gagik Surenyan

The head of the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations' Hydromet Service, Gagik Surenyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "In fact, these continuously warm and dry days are no longer joyful, but rather very concerning. The snow cover in the mountainous areas of the republic is three to four times less compared to the same days last year, and in some mountainous regions, there is no snow cover at all. The air temperature continues to remain 3-5 degrees above climatic norms.

In the next 10 days, no significant precipitation is expected across the republic, nor is a temperature drop anticipated. Moreover, after January 15, a certain increase in air temperature will be observed."
