Roman Berezovsky Appointed Head Coach of Pyunik

Roman Berezovsky has been appointed as the head coach of the Pyunik football club, according to the official page of the club.

In addition to Berezovsky, Sergey Chikishov has joined the coaching staff of Pyunik as an assistant. Prior to transferring to Pyunik, Chikishov had coaching positions at Irtysh, Tyumen, Spartak M., and Dynamo M.

The coaching staff at Pyunik will continue to include Robert Arzumanyan (assistant), Hayk Kirakosyan (goalkeeper coach), and Chiro Hoseini Verdi (fitness coach). Suren Chakhalyan will take on a different role within the Pyunik system.

Roman Berezovsky has long defended the goal of the Armenian national team. As a player, he has played for Syunik K., Cosmos Kirovets, Smena-Saturn, Zenit, Torpedo M., Dynamo M., and Khimki M. Berezovsky ended his playing career in 2015. After retiring as a player, he engaged in coaching in Moscow's Dynamo, Sochi, and the Armenian national team.
