Prime Minister Sends Condolences to Ukraine's President Zelensky and Iran's President Rouhani
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent condolence telegrams to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Iranian President Hassan Rouhani in connection with the tragic plane crash near Tehran.
According to the information and public relations department of the Prime Minister's office, the telegram to the Ukrainian president states: “Dear Mr. Zelensky, I received the sad news of the plane crash involving Ukraine International Airlines near Tehran with deep sorrow. On behalf of the Armenian people and myself, I express my deepest condolences and support to the families and relatives of the victims. In this difficult time, we stand by the friendly people of Ukraine.”
The telegram to the Iranian president reads: “Your Excellency, I was saddened to learn of the tragic plane crash that occurred on January 8th near Tehran, which resulted in numerous human casualties. On behalf of the Armenian people, I extend my deepest condolences to you, the families of the victims, and the friendly people of Iran.”
