Iran's Defense Ministry Presents Next Step Against the U.S.

Iranian Defense Minister Amir Khatami has not ruled out the possibility of additional measures against the United States. This was reported on the military department's website.

“The next response will depend on the actions of the U.S.,” Khatami stated, adding that Tehran has already given Washington a significant lesson.

It is noteworthy that on Wednesday evening, the IRGC announced the initiation of retaliatory actions for the assassination of Soleimani. Tehran launched surface-to-surface missiles at the Ain al-Asad base in Iraq's western province and Erbil, where U.S. forces are stationed. As a result of the missile strikes, 80 people were killed.

The international community is calling on both parties to exercise restraint.
