As of 21:00, There Are Impassable Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of January 8th, at 21:00, there are impassable roadways in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass from the Gegharkunik region and the Sotk-Karvachar roadway are difficult to traverse for trucks.

According to information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepanavan-Mindava-Lars roadway is open for all types of vehicles.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively using winter tires.
