Request to Confirm Arrest of נarek Sargsyan Submitted to Court

A request has been submitted to the court to confirm the arrest of Narek Sargsyan, the nephew of Armenia's third president Serzh Sargsyan. This was stated by Gor Abrahamyan, an advisor to the Prosecutor General of Armenia, in an interview with NEWS.am.

It is noteworthy that on December 21, Narek Alexander Sargsyan was transferred from the Czech Republic to Armenia under the escort of police officers.

A criminal case was initiated at the National Security Service of Armenia on June 26, 2018, for the illegal acquisition, sale, possession, transportation, or carrying of weapons, military ammunition, explosives, or explosive devices, as well as for the illegal circulation or preparation of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, and their precursors.
