Citizen Reports Assault by Khachatur Sukiasyan's Security Staff

Last night, I was assaulted by the security staff of businessman Khachatur Sukiasyan simply because I parked my vehicle in an inconvenient place. This was stated by a citizen who called Auroranews, whose name we are not disclosing at this time.

The citizen mentioned that he is a driver for the Yandex taxi service and went to the area adjacent to 'Rossiya Mall' to fulfill an order.

“Initially, I parked at a bus stop, as the client had indicated that address. The security staff of 'Rossiya Mall' approached and told me that I was parked in an unauthorized area. I moved my vehicle forward a bit and parked in the area designated for taxis. They approached again and said, ‘Didn’t we tell you that you’re parked in the wrong place?’ I replied that I had already changed my spot and parking for taxis is allowed here. One of them said that this area belongs to Khachatur Sukiasyan, and the other one told me not to mention his name, assuring me that they would handle the situation. At that moment, they pushed me and started hurling sexual insults at me. After some back-and-forth insults, they threw me onto the sidewalk and began delivering random blows with their feet and hands. They then took me to a darker area behind the mall and continued to beat me. I barely managed to escape to my car, and they came and hit my vehicle, tearing off the license plate. They kept shouting, ‘This is a мусор (garbage), he’s asking for it,’” recounted the citizen, assuring that the police could access the area’s surveillance cameras if they wished.

Inside the car, with the doors closed, the citizen called the police: “I called, explained what happened, and was told that a team would arrive in 10 minutes. Time passed, and they called back asking me to come to the police station since they were busy and could not come to me. I went to the Erebuni police station. Two hours later, an investigator came and took my statement, after which I felt unwell and was transferred to the ‘Erebuni’ medical center by the police. The doctor said I have numerous bruises on various parts of my body and my nose is broken,” said the citizen, emphasizing that he wants nothing but justice.

It is worth noting that the citizen is a former military personnel with the rank of major. “What should I do now, go and attack them to rectify this injustice? I’m a former soldier, physically strong, I could do that too, but who would support my children?” He added, “It has been several hours, but the police have not even sent me for a forensic examination.”

Auroranews contacted Khachatur Sukiasyan's spokeswoman Anna Mkrtchyan, who denied the news: “I spoke with the security staff. They report that there was no incident involving them yesterday.”

Police press officer Zardand Gabrielyan told Auroranews that the citizen reported to the police yesterday: “The citizen’s complaint has been registered, and a crime report has been filed. A forensic examination has been assigned.” From the admission at the ‘Erebuni’ medical center, it was also reported that the citizen was transferred to them yesterday. No further details were provided.
