Relatives of 3-Year-Old Child Appeal to Arsen Torosyan: 'Open Your Eyes Wide'

For several days now, residents of Ararat village in the Ararat region, Gagik Taroyan and Juliet Hambardzumyan, have been waiting for a clear response from Health Minister Arsen Torosyan regarding the death of their healthy and lively granddaughter, 3-year-old Adriana Taroyan, allegedly due to the negligence of doctors at the Ararat Medical Center.

In an interview with Shamshyan.com, the child's grandparents expressed their outrage, stating, "We have heard many reports that some doctors at the 'Ararat' Medical Center follow not the Hippocratic Oath but rather a butcher’s mentality. Our anger is so intense that no matter what we say to them, our hearts will not find peace. On December 7, we took our healthy, cheerful child to that hospital due to a fever, and after 4 days, they handed her back to her mother in the grips of near death and told us to transfer her to the 'Holy Mother of God' Medical Center.

Why does the Health Minister not care that even the ambulance had no fuel when transferring the child in critical condition? Why is the Health Minister not concerned that the chief doctor of Ararat Medical Center, Arayik Sardaryan, spreads false and defamatory information on television? Who will be held accountable? Does it take several children to die before the new health minister opens his eyes and takes action? Some doctors at the Ararat hospital, led by the chief doctor, killed our child. While it is true that we cannot bring our little one back, we want the doctors at the Ararat Hospital involved in her death, along with their chief, to be thrown out of the healthcare system.
