Georgian Criminal Authority Kaha Rustavski Sentenced to Life Imprisonment in France
Georgian criminal authority Kakhaber Shushanashvili (Kaha Rustavski) has been sentenced to life imprisonment in France. This was reported by the Prime Crime news agency.
The court in Aix-en-Provence, France, sentenced Kaha Rustavski to life behind bars for ordering the murder of Vladimir Janashia, known by the nickname Lado, in 2010. The 47-year-old Kaha Rustavski has been convicted for the third time.
Rustavski himself denies the charges and rejects any connections to the world of organized crime.
Kaha Rustavski's older brother, Lasha Rustavski, who is considered the head of the Georgian mafia in Europe, has been in a Greek prison since 2018.
