Five Sentenced to Death for Journalist's Murder in Saudi Arabia
A Saudi Arabian court has sentenced five people to death and arrested three others in connection with the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi last year in Turkey. This was reported by CNN.
Khashoggi, a well-known critic of the Saudi government, was killed inside the Saudi consulate in Istanbul by a group of Saudi agents.
Saudi authorities have stated that it was the result of a "rogue operation," and 11 anonymous individuals have been subjected to judicial proceedings.
