Christmas Tree Lights Illuminated in Aleppo's Azizieh District

According to tradition, the Christmas tree lights were illuminated in the square of the Azizieh district of Aleppo on December 21 this year. This was reported by the news outlet "Arevalk." 

According to the source, the Armenian Gymnastics Association's press release mentioned that the ceremony of lighting the Christmas tree was organized by the Leading Body of the Social-Democratic Hunchakian Party’s Northern Syria branch. Attendees included the Syrian Minister of Water Resources and member of the Ba'ath Party Central Committee Hussein Arnous, Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab, head of the Armenian Evangelical community Harutyun Selimyan, pastors of Aleppo's Christian communities, representatives of the state and the Ba'ath Party, guests, and numerous representatives of the Armenian community.
