FFA Urges Football Community to Show Restraint and Tolerance

On December 23, an extraordinary meeting of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA) is set to take place, during which elections for the FFA president and Executive Committee members will be held.

In light of recent publications in the media and social networks regarding speculations about the election of the FFA president and Executive Committee members, along with allegations of lack of transparency directed at the FFA, the Federation urges the football community to exhibit restraint and tolerance, and to refrain from speculation and aggressive calls.

“As previously announced, a press conference will be held on December 6 at the FFA headquarters, during which the names of candidates for the FFA presidency and Executive Committee, as well as the organizations nominating them, will be released live,” the statement reads. “The publication date (December 6) is conditioned by the fact that the submitted candidate packages are still under review by lawyers to confirm their compliance with the FFA charter.”
