Two Young Men Detained on Suspicion of Killing Currency Trader

The Investigative Committee of Armenia's Kotayk region has arrested two local residents aged 18 and 19, based on a decision by Senior Investigator Armen Hambardzumyan. According to shamshyan.com, they are suspected of stabbing 66-year-old Levon Chuljyan multiple times in the chest during an altercation in front of an apartment building in the Central district of Hrazdan on November 26.

Chuljyan died on his way to the 'Hrazdan' medical center. Earlier reports from the scene indicated a particularly brutal murder took place in the Kotayk region. At approximately 08:55, the Hrazdan police received a call from the medical center, reporting that a citizen had been brought in with stab wounds and had died without regaining consciousness.

Investigators determined the victim was Levon Chuljyan, a resident of building 43 in the Central district of Hrazdan, who had been transported from his home. A preliminary conclusion from the forensic examination indicated that he sustained six stab wounds from a sharp object to various parts of his body.
