Security Service Discovers Fugitive Inmate 'Mowgli'

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, the employees of the National Security Service of Armenia and the Correctional Service of the Ministry of Justice have discovered 31-year-old Arayik Sargsyan, nicknamed 'Mowgli', who escaped from the hospital on November 18 this year.

On November 18, the Correctional Service of the Ministry of Justice announced that 31-year-old Arayik Samvel Sargsyan, a convicted inmate from the 'Nubarashen' penitentiary, had escaped from the hospital. He had been previously convicted 7 times, with his latest sentence being 6 years and 6 months for violating Article 177, Part 3, of the Criminal Code of Armenia.

As reported by a photojournalist, operational-investigative groups were formed to locate him both within the Correctional Service and at the Erebuni division of the police.
