Urgent: Casualties Reported in the Artsakh Army

On December 2nd, at approximately 06:50, a soldier of the Artsakh Defense Army, born in 1998, Arthur Ishkhani Ajamyanyan, received a fatal gunshot wound under yet-to-be-determined circumstances at a guard post of one of the units deployed in the northeastern direction. Another soldier, born in 1999, Davit Harutuni Melikbekyan, was wounded in the incident.

An investigation is underway to clarify the details of the incident.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh mourns the heavy loss and expresses its support to the family members, relatives, and comrades of the deceased soldier.
