Tragic Incident in Kotayk Region: 61-Year-Old Man Electrocuted on Summer House Roof and Died on Scene

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident occurred today, November 29, in the Kotayk region. Around 16:30, the Kotayk police received a report that there was a man's body in a house located at 15/1 Amaranotsayin Street in Dzoraqbyur village.

As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the alert was also transmitted to the Emergency Situations Ministry's 911 operational management center.

The fire-rescue team from the Kotayk regional emergency rescue department arrived on the scene with one fire engine. An operational group from the Kotayk police also arrived.

Police and rescuers found that a 61-year-old man, identified as S. Arakelyan, was electrocuted and died while working on the roof of the house. According to G. Shamshyan’s information, he was registered in Yerevan.
