"I Am Afraid of the Police": Citizen Attempts Self-Immolation in Front of Government Building
A middle-aged man attempted to self-immolate in front of the Armenian government building, according to the emergency services' press office. On November 29, at 14:16, the "911" service received information that a citizen was trying to set himself on fire in front of the government building.
A firefighting team and a psychological support instructor from the emergency management's psychological consultation section were dispatched to the scene. As reported by aysor.am, the man cited the loss of his business as the reason for his attempt. He stated, "I have been engaged in business, paying taxes and duties, but in the end, banks deceived me, and former police employees were involved with prosecutors in this. There is a monster named Hratch Grigoryan, who is untouchable; they couldn't do anything to that person," the citizen expressed.
"Wait a minute, I am afraid of the police," he shouted as officers removed him from the scene in a police car.
