VIDEO: Two Armenians Killed in Pyatigorsk Explosion
The Armenian Embassy in Russia has provided details regarding the aftermath of the explosion that occurred in Pyatigorsk.
"We inform you that the embassy has contacted the relevant Russian authorities regarding the information disseminated in the press about the explosion on November 28 in the premises of a private brewery in Pyatigorsk and the presence of Armenian citizens among the casualties. According to information provided to the embassy, two Armenians were killed: A.M. Karapetyan (born in 1970) and T.P. Tarposyan (born in 1959). Further details are being clarified. We note that the Investigative Committee of the Stavropol Territory has opened a criminal case in connection to the incident," the embassy stated.
It is worth mentioning that today, on November 28, the former head of the Yerevan Police Department, Ashot Karapetyan, also died as a result of the explosion in Russia.
