Major Fire Breaks Out in Gyumri, Several Roofs Burned

On November 27, at 21:42, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call to the "911" service reporting a fire in the roof of a house on Merkur Street in Gyumri, Shirak Province.

Two fire and rescue units from the regional emergency rescue department were dispatched to the scene. According to preliminary data, the fire broke out on the roofs of several houses on Merkur Street. An additional three firefighting units were sent for assistance.

The fire was contained by 22:45 and completely extinguished by 00:07. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries. It has been determined that due to the fire in the house's roof, approximately 80 square meters were completely burned and about 40 square meters partially damaged.
