VIDEO: Bus Carrying 35 Russian Tourists Involved in Accident in the Dominican Republic

A bus carrying Russian tourists has been involved in an accident in the Dominican Republic. According to РИА Новости, citing the Russian embassy, the bus, which had 35 Russian tourists on board, collided with a freight truck on the way to the airport.

"There are no casualties, but there are serious injuries," stated the embassy's announcement. Reports indicate that the injured have received necessary medical assistance, and some have been transferred to a hospital. The remaining tourists have been accommodated in nearby hotels.

Mikhail Evdokimov, head of the Russian embassy's office in Punta Cana, is personally handling this matter, as reported by embassy representatives.
