Emergency Situations Ministry Warns Drivers: Snowfall in Kotayk, Aragatsotn, and Shirak Regions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of November 27, at 20:49, the roads in the Republic of Armenia are passable. Snow is falling in Charentsavan city of Kotayk region, in Aparan and Talin cities of Aragatsotn region, and in Zaghkadzor village, as well as in Shirak region.

Regarding the Lars situation, according to the information received from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

Construction work is ongoing on the Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Bagratashen road, which has resulted in the closure of this section for heavy trucks.

An alternative route has been established: Dilijan-Noyemberyan-Bagratashen.
