Tragic Incident in Gyumri: Rescuers Find Deceased Homeowner Hanging in His House

According to SHAMSHYAN.com, a tragic incident has occurred in the Shirak region. Around 21:25, the emergency situations ministry's rescue service received a call reporting that a resident of one of the apartments at 205A Shirakatsi Street in Gyumri was not responding to knocks on the door or phone calls.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, a team from the Shirak regional rescue department arrived promptly, and in the presence of emergency responders and police officers, they opened the door and discovered the body of a middle-aged man hanging near the entrance.

Currently, a police operational group from the Shirak regional police department and investigators from the Shirak regional investigative department of the Armenia Investigative Committee are arriving at the scene.

The police and investigative division are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident and the identity of the deceased. According to G. Shamshyan, the deceased was a 49-year-old resident of the mentioned building, identified as Simon Z.
