Large Fire Breaks Out in Shirak Region, Russian Border Guards Assist Rescuers

On November 25, at 12:38, the "911" service received information regarding a grassland fire near the Kharkov settlement, located between the 9th and 10th posts in Shirak region. A firefighting team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.

The fire was contained by 16:15 and fully extinguished by 16:35. Approximately 220 hectares of grassland burned in the incident. The firefighting efforts were supported by 30 servicemen and 4 units of equipment from the Russian border troops.
