Floods in France and Italy: Fatalities Reported
Heavy rainfall over several days in the south of France and the northwest of Italy has led to floods and landslides. International news outlets report that three people have died in France due to weather conditions, with one person still missing.
Rivers have overflowed their banks, roads are submerged, and in the Liguria region of Italy, a landslide has caused a highway bridge to collapse. Hundreds of people have been evacuated.
