VIDEO: Explosion, Casualties, Hundreds Injured and Curfew: Protests in Colombia

Following the resumption of unrest, authorities in Bogotá, the capital of Colombia, have imposed a curfew. This was reported by City TV. The city’s TransMilenio bus rapid transit system has been suspended.

According to the mayor's office, 230 people have been arrested for public disorder, looting, and vandalism.

Official reports indicate that during the anti-government protests, 3 people have died and 273 have been injured, including 148 military personnel and 3 police officers.

In the Cauca department of Colombia, a truck exploded near a newly opened police station, resulting in 3 fatalities. The truck was loaded with explosives, according to local media.

The blast's shockwave also damaged nearby buildings, and electricity has been cut off in the area.

Local authorities do not rule out the possibility of terrorism, albeit with somewhat unusual motivation. It is believed that criminal groups may have orchestrated the explosion to take advantage of the chaotic situation in Colombia, with the aim of spreading an atmosphere of fear, according to law enforcement sources.
