Live: Major Fire on Pushkin Street. The Roof of "Dolmama" Restaurant is Burning
On November 21, at 13:59, the "911" emergency service received a report that a fire has broken out in the roof of a two-story building at the intersection of Abovyan and Pushkin streets in Yerevan.
Four firefighting units from the Emergency Situations Ministry of the Republic of Armenia's Yerevan Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene along with rapid response and operational teams from the National Center for Crisis Management, as well as a psychological advisor from the psychological support division.
At 14:10, the fire was classified as a «Type-2» complexity. Two additional firefighting units and one aerial ladder were sent to the site.
At 14:19, the complexity level of the fire was raised to «Type-3». Four more firefighting units and one aerial ladder were dispatched to assist.
It was determined that the fire started in the roof of the restaurant located at 10 Abovyan Street. The wooden structural elements of the roof are burning.
