The Government Should Pay Me and I Will Resign: Gevorg Petrosyan

Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of the parliamentary group BHK, wrote on his Facebook page:

“Why are you discriminating...? If the government considers the approach of forcing Constitutional Court judges into early retirement to be lawful, then why is there a discriminatory approach being shown? If that's the case, I also want to benefit from this 'lottery'... The government should pay me—like many others left with a bone to chew on—the salary and incentives for the remaining term of my parliamentary powers, and I will gladly accept the offer today and resign. It would be wonderful, I will save my nerves, plus I won’t have to taint my eyes with shabby scenes... I am serious... And if we are talking more seriously, this method of privatizing the Constitutional Court is the height of disgrace...”
