Prime Minister's Airplane Lands in Venice

The official visit of the Prime Minister of Armenia and his wife to Italy has commenced. The airplane of the Armenian delegation has already landed at the Venice Airport, reports SHANTNEWS.am's correspondent.

From there, the delegation will travel by boat to the island of San Lazzaro, where the Mekhitarist Congregation is located. The Prime Minister will tour the island, which has also been affected by recent floods.

As is known, heavy rains have caused the water level in Venice to rise by 187 cm. In this city, a rise of 140 cm already means that 90 percent of the city is submerged.
