I’m Not the One to Comment on This Issue: Avinyan on Vahe Grigoryan’s Absence from Constitutional Court Sessions and Salaries
We and our international partners have noted that there is an issue, if not a crisis, in the Constitutional Court of Armenia that needs to be addressed. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan during a conversation with journalists today, November 20.
According to him, the proposals being made by the government in this direction are very constructive. “This is a process that should be continuously implemented until the crisis receives its final resolution,” Avinyan said.
When asked whether he considers it normal for Constitutional Court judge Vahe Grigoryan to be absent from court sessions while still receiving a salary and bonuses, the Deputy Prime Minister responded, “I’m not the one to comment on this issue.”
