Hrayr Tovmasyan's Vacation Has Ended: He Is Returning to Work

The vacation of Hrayr Tovmasyan, who holds the position of President of the Constitutional Court, ended on November 19. According to information from 'Haykakan Zhamanak', Tovmasyan has already returned to work as of yesterday.

We also attempted to confirm this information with the staff of the Constitutional Court and Tovmasyan's assistants. They informed us that one of the assistants, Rouzanna Abrahamyan, is on a business trip, while another, Artak Hovhannisyan, is on vacation. Hovhannisyan's work phone was answered by his driver.

The other assistant, Marianna Manukyan, requested that the inquiry about whether 'Tovmasyan has come to work today' be sent in written form, as she is not authorized to respond to that question. The receptionist and the press office did not respond to our inquiries either, and the assistant to the head of staff also mentioned that she does not have the authority to answer.

In the case of a written inquiry, we would likely only receive a response days later, since the staff head, Edgar Ghazaryan, who usually responds to inquiries, is also reported to be on a business trip.

It is noteworthy that Hrayr Tovmasyan had taken a two-day vacation on October 14 to avoid participating in the examination of a bill in the National Assembly regarding the termination of his powers. He then extended his vacation.
