Aviñan's Advisor Has Filed a Lawsuit Against Sarhat Petrosyan
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan's advisor, Avetik Eloyan, has filed a lawsuit against the former head of the Cadastre Committee, Sarhat Petrosyan. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan during a conversation with journalists on November 19.
“I was informed this morning that Mr. Eloyan has approached the court. I do not know the specifics on what grounds this is based; I assume it relates to defamation,” Avinyan said.
Former Cadastre Committee head Sarhat Petrosyan had previously stated that he informed Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan about the tribalism approaching corruption levels. “The advisor of Avinyan, Avetik Eloyan, who has never been active in Armenia, is now a major stakeholder in a significant design company and oversees huge investment projects,” Petrosyan had remarked at that time.
