Tank and Armored Vehicle Counteroffensive Exercises in Artsakh

A tactical exercise has been conducted in Artsakh involving one of the armored tank units operating in the northern direction of the Defense Army, during which live fire was also conducted. This was reported by the RA Ministry of Defense's official newspaper, "Hay Zinvvor."

According to the exercise concept, the armored units of the military unit went into battle to prevent the further advancement of a conditional adversary that had penetrated the front line of our forces and to push them back.

The conditional combat against the adversary was initiated from the Armenian side with artillery fire targeting specified locations. Subsequently, tanks and armored vehicles launched an assault to regain the front line. Afterward, the Armenian units pursued the conditionally retreating enemy, causing maximum damage to their personnel and military equipment.

The exercise was mainly offensive in nature and included elements that also stem from the prerequisites that will be imposed on the adversary in the future, noted the chief of staff of the unit, Colonel Samvel Grigoryan. Command leadership has confirmed that the exercise fully met the established objectives.
