Video: 'We Won't Be Doing Anything Recklessly' - Pashinyan on Constitutional Reforms

There are many vacant job positions in Yerevan today. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his visit to the community of Yeghvard in Kotayk Province on November 17, where he came to learn about subsidy programs.

“There are plenty of vacant jobs in Yerevan, factories have reopened, but there is a problem with people finding work. However, this will change, that’s for sure. But we shouldn't just rely on others to create job opportunities. Starting January 1, micro-businesses with an annual turnover of 24 million will be completely exempt from taxes. We are doing this so that people have employment,” he stated.

During the event, a citizen approached Pashinyan and remarked that in typically authoritarian countries, the first action taken after a revolution is amending the Constitution, followed by infrastructure changes, and he asked when this would happen. “We have strategically decided that constitutional amendments should be made in February, which should be effective. We won’t be doing anything recklessly; there is no need for hasty actions,” he responded.

It is worth noting that earlier today, Pashinyan also familiarized himself with the operations of the water supply system in the community of Zovuni in Kotayk Province, as well as the progress of the renovation works of the bridge from Yeghvard to Ashtarak.
